R&D Center
The company's technology center has been recognized as a provincial-level technology center by six departments including the Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology. It has a research and development team composed of numerous doctors and masters, and it cooperates with Shanxi Highway Science Research Institute, Taiyuan University of Technology, Chang'an University, Xi'an University of Technology, North China University, and Shanxi Engineering Technology Vocational College to grasp the direction of technological research and development through the establishment of an expert committee and flexible introduction of talents, making technological achievements at the forefront domestically. The technology center covers an area of approximately 2,000 square meters and has a pilot plant, comprehensive laboratory, professional laboratory, analysis and testing room, and comprehensive meeting room, equipped with a full set of instruments for road marking materials and road marking testing. The total investment exceeds 20 million yuan. The technology center is mainly responsible for the research and development of road marking materials, road maintenance materials, and floor materials, as well as road marking testing, construction processes, standard formulation, and technical marketing.
The technical leader and chairman of the board, Du Limin, is one of the 100 outstanding engineers in Chinese highways. He has published more than 20 papers in magazines such as "China Coatings" and "Highway Transportation Technology" and has authored and published the book "Road Marking Materials and Applications," the first domestically published book systematically introducing road marking materials and their practical applications. He has participated in the formulation of the national standard "Initial Retroreflection Brightness Coefficient and Testing Method for Newly Marked Road Markings" and the industry standard "Colored Anti-skid Road Surfaces."
Relying on its strong R&D capabilities, the company is committed to becoming a cultivator and service provider of the road marking market and a pioneer in technology. For more than 30 years, it has achieved many achievements in the road marking industry: it was the first to propose micro-surface treatment road surface applicable road marking products; the first to put forward the concept of anti-pollution city road markings; the first to propose and apply high-reflectivity road markings; the first to launch road marking products for high-cold and high-altitude areas; the first to launch vibration and rainy night road marking products; and with the US company 3M, it proposed the concept of all-weather road markings and became its authorized reflective paint processor in China. Leveraging the company's material application advantages in two-component road marking technology, the company applies the materials to the flooring business, utilizing its acid resistance, alkali resistance, and cleanability characteristics to solve the problems of difficult resin floor repair, inability to work in winter, and the lack of suitable materials for food processing floors such as commercial kitchens and slaughterhouses, improving the shortcomings in the development of the resin floor industry.
