High retroreflection, safer and more comfortable

“The two-component spray-type marking line should achieve the effect of continuous highlighting, and the thickness of the spraying is the key,” Du Limin said, the coatings are all semi-finished products. Only when they are on the road and sprinkled with reflective beads can they become the marking line. The three-point paint seven-point construction is the importance of construction. In April 2015, Changda Company received the task of marking the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge marking line. In December 2017, Changda Company selected an excellent team to enter the construction site to start construction. In February of this year, all the marking lines in the inner section of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge were installed and completed.
The MMA two-component marking is a new type of marking, which can be made of plastic and can be made into a colorful anti-skid surface. Construction in winter, wear-resistant and more environmentally friendly

It is conservatively estimated that the current road marking market in China has a total area of more than 200 million square meters. According to preliminary calculations, the completion of these markings requires consumption of more than 20,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas, more than 90,000 tons of carbon dioxide, and more than 70,000 tons of organic solvents. In recent years, China's "Environmental Protection Law" and "Environmental Protection Tax Law" have been implemented. Several provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) have issued documents on products that encourage the use of low-VOC content (referred to as VOC content) in pavement marking paints. In the upcoming new national standard JT/280 "Pavement marking paint", the VOC content becomes an important indicator to check whether the coating meets the requirements. The VOC content in the MMA two-component marking line is almost zero. At the same time, the MMA two-component marking line does not need to be heated during construction, which is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.



When the temperature is too low, if the hot-melt marking line is used, the marking line is easy to peel off, and the MMA two-component marking line does not have too much requirement for the construction temperature, between minus 10 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. Can be constructed normally. MMA two-component marking products can effectively solve the problem that the north, west and high altitude areas cannot be constructed in winter.
It is understood that the current two-component marking line, especially the MMA two-component marking line, has been widely used in various parts of the world, and the dosage in North America has exceeded 10%. In Europe, especially in countries with lower temperatures such as Germany and Switzerland, the amount is used. Has reached more than 50%.

“The maintenance of urban road markings, we usually work at night to minimize the impact on traffic. The biggest shortcoming of MMA two-component marking line is that the drying time is long, it will not have much impact on new roads, but for road maintenance. In terms of it, it is easy to cause traffic jams." Du Limin introduced.
With the passage of time and the increase in the total amount of road facilities, the current demand for road maintenance in China has shown a rapid growth trend. Maintenance is arduous, which determines that road maintenance must be fast, safe and efficient. Adhering to innovative road maintenance technology, using energy-saving and environmentally-friendly new materials and new processes, and adopting high-end intelligent maintenance equipment are important measures for the production and construction enterprises of marking lines to cope with the development of traditional conservation to modern conservation.
“Now, we have begun to adjust the formula of MMA two-component marking to shorten the drying time of the marking line to about 10 minutes.” Du Limin said that the automatic vehicle spraying equipment is also one of the key projects of Changda Company.
